Research based solutions for energy sector sought

ZERA in collaboration with the Research Council of Zimbabwe has made a call for research proposals that seek to and can address issues in the country’s energy generation, transmission, distribution and local battery technology/manufacturing sector. Other areas of possible research are energy access, energy efficiency, renewable energy and economics of energy supply.
The call is seeking proposals that can offer innovative solutions to identified operational and developmental issues and improve reliability in the supply of energy and develop heritage based knowledge in the research area.
The proposals should produce knowledge on practical and realistic solutions that are domestically and industrially implementable.
Individual researchers as well as public and private academic and research oriented institutions are urged to apply.
The deadline for submission of applications is 6 August 2021.
